Traces is the second exhibition of Marguerite de Merode in Lithuania after her solo show in Vilnius at the Graphic Art Centre, also curated by Benedetta Carpi De Resmini. The photographic works in the exhibition recount the artist’s in-depth study of the theme of migration, starting with an exemplary work such as the installation About Ali (2011). Each work in the exhibition aims to give importance to the infinite facets that a character can take on, be it a face, a hand or a single place.
