Identities Beyond Borders is a traveling contemporary art exhibition curated by Benedetta Carpi De Resmini, created for the 25th anniversary of the Farnesina’s Contemporary Art Collection.

Promoted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, the project unfolds between June 2025 and June 2026 at the Italian Cultural Institutes in Berlin, Vilnius, Belgrade, and Valletta. The exhibition programme is evolving and expanding into new cities, in continuity with the institutional collaboration with the Italian Cultural Institutes (IIC).

The exhibition explores the relationship between humans and nature, addressing themes of identity, conflict, and coexistence within a global context of environmental crisis and social transformation, through works by prominent Italian artists from the past 50 years.
